Otto Mihalovits – Surf School Coordinator
Otto received his ISA surf license in 2008 while working in Agadir, Morocco where he became head manager of the Robinson Club Agadir Surf School for almost a year. Otto has surfed in places like Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Lagos, Bilbao, Taghazout and Seignosse. Otto received his ISA Level 1 surf instructor license in 2011. In 2012 he furthered his credentials and received the NARS Lifesaver Award in Vieux Boucau, France and ISA Level 2 surf instructor certification. Otto was born in Arad, Romania and studied music and physical education in Germany. Before becoming a surf instructor Otto worked as a snowboard instructor and high school physical education teacher.

Peter Ansah – Surf Instructor
Peter Ansah is 24 years old and is from Busua. He is one of only a few expert surfers in Ghana and has surfed for four years. He has surfed in Billabong Surf competitions which has taken him to Cote D’ Ivoire several times and he traveled to South Africa to compete in the Surf Africa Championship in 2011. Peter has taught surf lessons at Black Star Surf Shop for two years and enjoys teaching people how to surf while traveling the coast of Ghana looking for the best waves.

Kofi Acquah – Surf Instructor
Kofi is a native of Busua and one of five children. He is 21 years of age has been surfing for three years. He is an expert surfer and has competed in several surf competitions in Busua. Kofi has been working as a surf instructor at Black Star Surf Shop for three years and enjoys sharing his passion for surfing with others. Kofi has a wealth of local knowledge and has traveled along the coast searching for new surf sports. His favorite food is fufu with palm-nut soup and tuna.
